WebP to JPG Converter does not collect the image files you select for conversion. The app does not upload, store, or share your source images, converted images, file names, or file paths with our servers.

The app may receive automatically supplied app and device information through Google services, such as basic app interaction events, preferred language, diagnostics, crash reports, performance measurements, and ad-delivery information. These services help us understand reliability and usage, display ads, and improve the app.

3. DATA PROCESSING

All image decoding, conversion, previewing, and local file handling are performed on your device. JPG and JPEG refer to the same image format. JPEG conversion is lossy, transparent areas are flattened onto white, and an animated WebP is converted to a still JPG using its first frame.

Temporary files may be created locally to support conversion, saving, sharing, or cache recovery. They are managed on your device and are not intended for cloud storage.

4. PERMISSIONS AND DEVICE ACCESS

• Photo and file picker access: Used when you choose WebP images from your gallery or device file picker.
• Device storage access: Used to save successful conversions to the WebP_Converted album when the operating system and your permission allow it.
• Internet access: Used by Google Mobile Ads and Firebase services. It is not used to upload your image files for conversion.
• Advertising ID access: May be used by Google Mobile Ads for advertising and measurement, subject to Google’s policies and your device settings.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The app uses Google Mobile Ads to display native advertising and Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring for aggregate usage, diagnostics, and performance information. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies. The app’s custom telemetry is designed to send counts, categories, settings, outcomes, and size buckets rather than image content.

6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Images and temporary conversion files remain under your device’s control. You can remove exported files from your gallery or file manager, clear the app’s local storage, or uninstall the app. Information handled by Google services is retained and deleted according to the applicable Google service policies and settings.

7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

WebP to JPG Converter is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
